At the meeting, Dong Nai informed the Imex Pan Pacific Group about the Free Trade Zone Project that the province is building. Accordingly, through research on the scale and area of ​​free trade zones in the world , they usually account for 1-2% of the area.

In Dong Nai , the Provincial People's Committee is developing a project and is expected to complete it in May with a proposed scale of 8,000 hectares of the Free Trade Zone (accounting for 1.3% of the province's area), which is completely consistent with the orientation of free trade zone development.

After reviewing, the Department of Finance proposed the location of two logistics zones near Long Thanh airport with an area of ​​1,000 hectares and 180 hectares, in addition to a 284-hectare land area next to the airport for the company to study.

At the meeting, representatives of departments, branches as well as the Lien Thai Binh Duong Group exchanged information related to the project of building a free trade zone in the area. Current projects and plans being implemented in localities, world experience in developing free trade zones; issues to note in the cooperation process between the two units in the future. Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc welcomed the Imex Pan Pacific Group to come and explore investment in Dong Nai. At the same time, the provincial leaders requested the Department of Finance and related departments and branches to coordinate with enterprises to discuss specific issues, aiming to successfully build a free trade zone in the area.
