Son La province completes program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

(DN) - On May 15, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Son La province held a conference to summarize the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.

Attending the conference were Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Nong Thi Ha; Secretary of Son La Provincial Party Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh; Standing Deputy Secretary of Son La Provincial Party Committee Lo Minh Hung; Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Viet.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Cao Van Quang, as head of the working delegation of Dong Nai province, attended and congratulated the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Son La Province. Accompanying the delegation were Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office Vien Hong Tien and members of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Dong Nai Province.

According to the report of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Son La Province, implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, over 3,000 meritorious policy households, poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households in Son La Province have been supported to build and repair houses and so far this work has been completed. Of which, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Son La Province has mobilized contributions from socialized sources of over 61 billion VND. At the same time, Dong Nai Province has supported Son La Province with 111 billion VND to implement this program.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Son La province awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the program of Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. Among them, Dong Nai province has 3 individuals who were awarded certificates of merit by the People's Committee of Son La province, including: Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Cao Van Quang, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office Vien Hong Tien and Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Van Thang.
