Google says an unspecified number of executives are receiving blackmail emails from hackers.

VietnamPlusVietnamPlus02/10/2025

On October 2, technology company Google, a member of Alphabet, announced that an unspecified number of executives were receiving emails containing blackmail from hackers.

In a statement, Google said a group of hackers claiming to be linked to the cl0p ransomware gang is sending emails to executives at multiple organizations.

The email claims to have stolen sensitive data from the individuals' Oracle E-Business Suite business applications.

However, Google also made it clear that there is not enough evidence to confidently assess the authenticity of these claims.

Oracle has not yet responded to the above information. Google has also not provided further details about this extortion campaign./.
