Rewarding individuals who won First Prize in the "Excellent Teacher Competition for Secondary School Level in Bac Tu Liem District, School Year 2023-2024"

In the atmosphere of the whole country competing to achieve achievements to celebrate major holidays, on April 26, 2024, at Xuan Dinh Secondary School, the Departmentof Education and Training (DET) of Bac Tu Liem District (Hanoi) held the Closing Ceremony of the Competition for Excellent Teachers at Secondary School level in Bac Tu Liem District for the 2023-2024 school year.

Attending the ceremony were teacher Nguyen Huu Hai - Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Tu Liem district, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest; teachers and specialists of the Department of Education and Training; teachers representing the Board of Examiners in the subjects: Literature, History, Geography, Natural Science , Physical Education, Information Technology, Civic Education; teachers and principals and 91 teachers from secondary schools in Bac Tu Liem district participating in the Contest for Excellent Secondary School Teachers.

The Competition for Excellent Secondary School Teachers is one of the professional activities of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi City, held annually to select, recognize and honor teachers who have achieved the title of Excellent Teacher, creating conditions for teachers to demonstrate their abilities, study, and exchange teaching experiences; organize classes; exploit and use teaching aids and equipment creatively and effectively; implement the current General Education Program (GDPT) and orientate according to the teaching methods and techniques, testing and evaluation of the new GDPT program. The competition also contributes to the development of emulation movements in schools, encouraging, motivating, and creating opportunities for teachers to self-study and be creative. The purpose of the Competition is to discover, foster and promote typical advanced individuals, contributing to improving the quality of education in schools in particular and the education sector of Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi City in general.

In each competition, the teachers devoted a lot of enthusiasm, showing meticulous preparation in both form and content. Most of the teachers participating in the competition have solid experience and expertise, proactively applying information technology in all teaching sessions. In many subjects, teachers have promoted initiative, flexibility, creativity, and innovation in teaching methods, highlighting the focus of the lesson and being suitable for the thinking of secondary school students, while at the same time testing and evaluating the actual development capacity of students.

The 2023-2024 Bac Tu Liem District Excellent Secondary School Teacher Competition is a quality professional activity, not only to introduce good lessons and active teaching methods to all cadres and teachers in the district, but also to contribute to training and improving the professional capacity of the secondary school teachers, contributing to the successful implementation of the school year's theme: "Solidarity, discipline, creativity, continuing to innovate, improving the quality of education and training". Thereby, creating motivation in developing the teaching staff and implementing fundamental and comprehensive innovation in secondary school education. On the other hand, it helps schools to recognize and re-evaluate the work of building and fostering the teaching staff of the unit, as well as encourage, motivate, and create opportunities for teachers of schools to learn, practice, and improve their professional capacity and pedagogical skills; Discover, recognize, and honor teachers who have achieved the title of excellent teachers and replicate advanced examples, contributing to creating motivation for the development of education in Bac Tu Liem district.

Speaking at the Closing Ceremony, teacher Nguyen Huu Hai - Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Tu Liem District, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest acknowledged many advantages, from progress, facilities, equipment to seriousness, compliance with regulations, objectivity, fairness... Many lessons were carefully prepared, closely following knowledge and skills standards, applying information technology reasonably and effectively; proactively innovating teaching methods and forms to suit students. The process of organizing lessons has been promoted in accordance with the new trend of "Starting up - discovering knowledge - practicing, practicing - applying", teachers also regularly pay attention to developing learners' qualities and abilities, guiding students to acquire knowledge on their own.

The 2023-2024 Bac Tu Liem District Secondary School Teacher Competition ended with 88 awards, including 9 teachers with excellent grades in the subjects of Geography, History, Physics, Informatics, Civic Education, Chemistry; 36 teachers won First Prize; 31 teachers won Second Prize and 12 teachers won Third Prize. Most of the teachers participating in the competition were confident, courageous, dedicated and especially applied information technology well, innovated teaching methods to effectively develop students' capacity.

Teacher Tran Thanh Binh - Teacher of Minh Khai Secondary School won the excellent prize in Chemistry, representing 91 teachers participating in the contest, said: The Contest for Excellent Teachers at Secondary School level in Bac Tu Liem district for the 2023-2024 school year has helped teachers learn and accumulate more experience in teaching, improve professional capacity, foster more love for the profession to constantly contribute their intelligence and efforts to the education cause of Bac Tu Liem district.

Xuan Dinh Secondary School has 5 teachers in the subjects of Literature, Geography, Civic Education, Biology, and Physical Education who all won high prizes.

Participating in the "Competition for Excellent Secondary Teachers in Bac Tu Liem District for the 2023-2024 school year", Xuan Dinh Secondary School has 05 teachers in the subjects of Literature, Geography, Civic Education, Biology, and Physical Education, all of whom won high prizes. With all their passion and enthusiasm, the teachers have achieved brilliant and proud achievements with 02 Excellent prizes, 02 First prizes and 01 Second prize.

The 2023-2024 school year competition for excellent secondary school teachers in Bac Tu Liem district has ended with many meanings and left a good impression, thereby spreading the emulation movement "Good teaching - good learning" in schools, contributing to improving the quality of education in Bac Tu Liem district./.
