From 2-3am on April 27, the bustling, vibrant atmosphere enveloped the central area of ​​Ho Chi Minh City when thousands of people, artists, and convoys of vehicles carrying soldiers poured onto the main roads to prepare for the rehearsal of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, which will take place on April 30. Many people jokingly called the celebration a 'national concert' because it attracted a large number of people from all over the country to watch it over the past time.

On streets such as Le Loi, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia and the area around the Cay Lieu roundabout in front of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, people were present very early, even from 10-11pm the night before, staying up all night to "save good seats" to watch the parade. They prepared enough clothes, water and food for the whole morning to watch the program.

Joining the bustling atmosphere of the people, famous artists were also present very early to prepare for their roles in the rehearsal. In the area reserved for artists, the serious and professional atmosphere was clearly visible on everyone's face.

Although they had to arrive early to ensure all preparations went smoothly, everyone was full of energy and excitement. At 4am, Miss H'Hen Nie said she was on her way to the rehearsal. Her husband, photographer Tuan Khoi, prepared a meal for her to nourish her before the important rehearsal.

In addition to H'Hen Nie, Miss Bao Ngoc, Tieu Vy, Kieu Duy, King Tuan Ngoc and many familiar faces such as singer Phuong Thanh, actress Lam Vy Da, Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc, Thuy Ngan, Tien Luat, Thai Hoa, Minh Luan... all showed enthusiasm and high responsibility. People's Artist Kim Xuan, despite her age, was still enthusiastic and full of energy when participating with her young colleagues.

Despite many days of practice, this rehearsal still required absolute concentration to ensure every detail was perfect. Being able to contribute a small part to the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification is a great honor for the artists.

To ensure security for the large-scale rehearsal with the participation of 13,000 people from 48 blocks, security was tightened from early morning. From 3am, more than 20 streets in the city center were closed to people and vehicles to serve the rehearsal.

The rehearsal took place at 7am on Le Duan Street, the third rehearsal in Ho Chi Minh City.
