Arriving early to attend the festival, Ms. Mai Thi Kinh (in Son Ha village, Tam Quang commune) could not hide her happiness because her daughter received gifts from the program today.
Having a leg disability, she had to use a cane to walk, but the mother and son did not mind the long journey to join in the joyful atmosphere with the border guards.
"The family only has a mother and a child, and their circumstances are very difficult. When the uncles and aunts told us to come down and receive the gifts, we were very happy. Thank you for caring about the poor people in the border area," Ms. Kinh confided.
