Hanoi promotes information and propaganda on "Awareness of the new era"

Kinhtedothi - On December 5, the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda Department issued Instruction No. 160-HD/BTGTU to propagate and implement the political activity: "Research and thoroughly grasp the guiding ideology and major orientation of the Party and General Secretary To Lam on the new era - the era of national growth".

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong chaired the conference of key officials across the city on December 6 to launch a political activity about the new era.

The purpose of the guideline is to raise awareness among cadres, party members, armed forces and people of all walks of life in the capital on organizing, thoroughly implementing the purposes, requirements and contents stated in Plan No. 284-KH/TU dated November 29, 2024 on implementing the political activity: "Researching, thoroughly grasping and propagating the guiding ideology and major orientations of the Party and General Secretary To Lam on the new era - the era of national rise"; widely informing and propagating throughout the Party about the profound significance, guiding ideology and major orientations of the Party and General Secretary To Lam on the new era - the era of national rise.

In particular, it creates high unity in the city's political system, consensus in society, contributing to building the capital and the country in the new era.

Promote the role and responsibility of Party committees, authorities and the political system, especially heads of agencies and units, in leading and directing the dissemination and implementation of Plan No. 284-KH/TU; contributing to arousing pride and trust in the Party's leadership.

Create an atmosphere of excitement, solidarity, confidence and determination of the Party Committee and People of the Capital to successfully implement the Resolution of the 17th City Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Information and propaganda work needs to closely follow the political orientation and direction of the City Party Committee, ensuring consistency, synchronization, persistence, regularity, long-term, with highlights, focus, and key points, creating widespread dissemination, becoming concrete actions of each cadre, party member and people.

Strengthen the work of protecting the ideological foundation; protect the image and reputation of the Party and the country, and defeat all plots and sabotage activities of hostile, reactionary, discontented, and opportunistic political forces that aim to distort the viewpoints, guidelines, and policies of the Party and State in the cause of innovation, national construction and defense.

The forms of information and propaganda are flexible, creative, rich and vivid, associated with propaganda for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, the 18th Hanoi Party Congress towards the 14th National Party Congress, propaganda to celebrate major holidays and important historical events of the capital and the country in 2024-2025 and propaganda to carry out the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, ensuring social order and safety and political tasks of localities and units.

The content includes information and propaganda on “Awareness of the new era - the era of national development”. In which, it affirms that entering the new era is an inevitable development step, in accordance with the laws of movement of the Vietnamese revolution and the development trend of the times.

That is the era of development, the era of prosperity under the leadership and rule of the Communist Party, successfully building a socialist Vietnam, a rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, civilization, on par with the world powers; all people have a prosperous, happy life, are supported to develop and get rich.

The top priority is to focus on successfully implementing strategic goals by 2030, Vietnam will become a developing country with modern industry and high average income; by 2045, it will become a developed socialist country with high income.

The time we begin a new era is the 14th National Party Congress, a time after 40 years of implementing the renovation process and achieving great achievements; the foundation, potential, position, and international prestige have been enhanced; Vietnam's development space and potential still has many advantages and resources.
