Also at this festival, more than 100,000 vocational school enrollment targets were introduced to final year students through 1-1 direct consultation.

Mr. Le Minh Thao - Deputy Head of the Department of Continuing Education - Vocational Education and University, Hanoi Department of Education and Training - said that the Department will propose and advise the City People's Committee to have a policy of exempting and reducing tuition fees for high school students studying vocational training after graduation.

Previously, this policy only applied to secondary school students.

Currently, the rate of post-secondary education in Hanoi is about 18%.

Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong affirmed that the capital's education sector will organize this career guidance program at least once a year with the goal of creating a quality environment for secondary school students to access practical and vivid career information.

Mr. Cuong also cited figures proving high employment opportunities for college and vocational school students. This rate is around 70-80% in all majors and reaches 100% in some service-tourism majors such as hotel management, chefs, baristas, housekeeping, etc.

The direct participation of enterprises in the formal training program, not just the internship phase, also contributes to improving the training quality of current vocational education institutions, thereby increasing the rate of students having jobs immediately after graduation.
