At the time of inspection, the delegation did not detect any violations; the goods being traded at the inspected establishments had product labels that met the legal regulations; the measuring instruments at the establishments' stores had been inspected and were within the inspection period as prescribed. In addition, these units had also announced quality standards and technical regulations in accordance with the legal regulations and strictly kept the manufacturer's quality records as prescribed. Through the inspection, the delegation also disseminated and guided organizations and individuals to comply with the legal regulations on labeling of goods; kept quality declaration records with the products when importing goods; and used group 2 measuring instruments to ensure measurement.
According to Mr. Nguyen Cong Nhat, this inspection aims to ensure compliance with the law by organizations and individuals doing business, effectively combat commercial fraud, improve management efficiency, protect the rights and legitimate interests of businesses and consumers; at the same time, detect, prevent, propagate and promptly handle violations of the law on standards, measurements, product and goods quality, and urge and guide organizations and individuals doing business to fully comply with the provisions of the law on standards, measurements, product and goods quality in the province.
According to the plan, this time the delegation will conduct inspections of 40 petrol, gold and silver establishments in the province and will end on June 26.
