At the event, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Hue City presented a thematic report on the index to assess the level of digital transformation of small and medium enterprises. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son recommended that small and medium enterprises should start from basic criteria such as building a digital presence, using electronic invoices, and managing customer data. It is necessary to build practical training support programs and provide digital transformation plan templates. The Director of the Department also proposed to build an online assessment tool on the Hue-S platform for businesses to self-score and receive recommendations for improvement.

Accordingly, through the "For Businesses" Digital Platform on the Hue-S application, businesses will have favorable conditions to connect and interact with the government; quickly access information and support policies; participate in training programs and online consultation on digital transformation. At the same time, the "Digital Work" Platform for the Business Association and its members is designed to improve the management and operation efficiency of the Business Association, promoting a professional and modern digital working environment.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony of the Digital Platforms, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong - Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee acknowledged and praised the Department of Science and Technology and coordinating units for actively deploying and completing the Digital Platform "For Enterprises" on Hue-S and the "Digital Working" Platform for Business Associations in this meaningful period. Mr. Phan Quy Phuong emphasized that this is an important tool for businesses to innovate and improve their competitiveness in the digital economy era. At the same time, he called for the companionship of the business community and associations in this innovation process - for a dynamic, effective and sustainably developing local economy.

The leaders of the City People's Committee also requested the Department of Science and Technology to continue to review, survey and assess the needs and feedback of businesses to improve and upgrade the features of the platform to ensure friendliness, ease of use, and closeness to the practical needs of businesses and agencies; Organize training and guidance to help businesses effectively exploit the platforms and widely communicate to improve usage efficiency.

It is recommended that the Department of Finance coordinate with relevant departments and branches to regularly review and provide information on business support policies to the platform and participate in interacting, answering questions, and removing difficulties and problems for businesses.

For the Business Association, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong proposed to synchronously deploy the "Digital Work" platform with the "For Business" platform, striving for 100% of members to participate in using the "For Business" platform on Hue-S. At the same time, listen and absorb feedback from businesses to make recommendations to adjust and improve the platform to ensure it is suitable for practical needs.

Also within the framework of the program, Hue City Business Association organized a Conference - Training with the theme "Optimal business solutions using applications and artificial intelligence (AI)" with practical content, helping to improve the capacity to apply technology and competitiveness, contributing to sustainable development for businesses and the whole city.

The launch of the two digital platforms is a concrete step by Hue city in realizing the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation and Resolution 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development. Thereby, contributing to creating a modern, transparent, dynamic, creative and sustainable business environment.
