The Ministry of Industry and Trade's Trade Union organized a "Trade Union Meal" to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the Industry and Trade sector's Traditional Day.

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien, Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan and leaders of units under the Ministry enjoyed a meal organized by the union at the headquarters at 23 Ngo Quyen.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the “Union Meal” at the headquarters at 23 Ngo Quyen, Chairman of the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Trade Union Nguyen Minh Hue emphasized that this was an activity directed by the Standing Committee of the Ministry’s Party Committee and the Ministry’s leaders, with close coordination between the Ministry’s Trade Union and its affiliated units. This activity aims to show gratitude for the tireless efforts of the staff, civil servants, public employees and workers throughout the Ministry.

On behalf of the collective of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Chairman Nguyen Minh Hue expressed his deep gratitude for the attention and companionship of the comrades in the Party Committee Standing Committee and the Ministry's leaders who have always taken care of the material and spiritual life of the industry's staff.

“In the atmosphere of reunion, at the connecting points, all officials of the Industry and Trade sector turned to the event with pride, respect for tradition and expectations for the development stages ahead,” emphasized the Chairman of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

According to the Organizing Committee, the "Union Meal" on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnam's Industry and Trade sector had the participation of more than 1,200 officials, civil servants and employees of units under the Ministry.

At the headquarters at 23 Ngo Quyen, Ms. Nguyen Hong Vinh - Institute for Industry and Trade Policy and Strategy shared: “Participating in the “Union Meal” organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Trade Union, I felt not only the delicious food but also the connection and sharing between union members. This is a meaningful activity that not only shows the concern of the Trade Union Executive Committee but also acts as a bridge between colleagues, helping us get closer together. The warm and friendly atmosphere makes me even more proud of the working environment, where solidarity and mutual support are always valued.”

Similarly, at the headquarters at 54 Hai Ba Trung, Mr. Vu Anh Hoang - Specialist of the Department of Organization and Personnel expressed: “I am very moved to participate in the intimate meal organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Trade Union to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the industry's Traditional Day. This is a practical and meaningful activity, contributing to uniting the collective, demonstrating the deep concern of the trade union organization for civil servants and workers. Such programs not only enrich office life but also add motivation to work. Thank you to the Organizing Committee and wish the trade union to grow stronger and stronger”.

At the headquarters at 655 Pham Van Dong, union members started enjoying the union meal from 10:45 am. Most of the officers, employees and workers of the units in the building were happy to participate in the "Union Meal". Ms. Tran Thi Thao, Center for Industry and Trade Information shared: "This is the second time I have enjoyed the "Union Meal" and the feelings are still the same as the first time: Warm, thoughtful and full of love. The food is not only delicious, suitable for the taste but also carefully prepared, clean and full. The atmosphere in the organization area is very airy, the tables and chairs are arranged reasonably, creating a comfortable feeling like a big family meal. We hope that unions at all levels will continue to organize and expand the "Union Meal".

Mr. Dinh Thanh Tuan, a member of the Trade Union of the Industry and Trade Newspaper, enthusiastically said: “The rice is delicious, hot, and every dish is skillfully seasoned and just right. Not only that, the desserts are also very diverse and rich: Fruit, yogurt, various types of sweet soup… More importantly, the atmosphere is cozy, everyone laughs, talks, shares, like a big family. I see that the meal is not just about eating and drinking, but also the way the trade union cares for the workers in a practical and sincere way.”

Meals filled with union affection

Although the meal was simple, it was a beautiful symbol of solidarity and sharing, a valuable source of encouragement for the staff of the Industry and Trade sector to continue promoting tradition and contributing to the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country.
