Minister Nguyen Manh Hung and Minister of Communications and Informatization of Belarus Kirill Zalessky exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation.
This is the first time the two countries have signed cooperation agreements in the fields of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation, laying the foundation for the development and implementation of specific cooperation programs and initiatives in the future.

Also within the framework of the visit, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung had bilateral working sessions with the Minister of Communications and Informatization and the Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus.
At the meeting with the Minister of Communications and Informatization of Belarus Kirill Zalessky, the two sides shared policies and development orientations, and discussed cooperation priorities between the two ministries in the coming time. The two ministers agreed that the two sides should soon have cooperative activities that bring practical results to the two countries, and emphasized that the priority of cooperation between the two ministries in the period of 2025 will be to promote investment and business cooperation between digital technology enterprises of the two countries.

At the working session with Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus Sergei Shlychkov, the two sides discussed the implementation of cooperation programs between scientific research institutions, innovation centers, strengthening connections and expanding the network of research institutes and leading universities of each country.

Minister Nguyen Manh Hung visited and worked with the Innovation Technology Park (Technopark Polytechnich) under the Belarusian Committee for Science and Technology. The leaders of the Technopark introduced the research capacity, solutions and latest technology products of Technopark Polytechnich. The two sides discussed the possibility of joint research cooperation under the ordering mechanism, establishing a network of experts and scientists, and the possibility of building joint innovation centers to promote technology transfer, support startups and commercialize scientific research results.

The signing of cooperation agreements between the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology and relevant agencies of Belarus has opened a new chapter in cooperation in science and technology, innovation and digital transformation between the two countries, exploiting and promoting the potential and strengths of each country in this field, contributing to the development and deepening of the new strategic partnership established during the State visit to Belarus by General Secretary To Lam./.
