Hanoi assigns more than 100 additional quotas for grade 10

According to announcement No. 3205/TB-SGDĐT, the Department of Education and Training stated: based on the conclusion of the admission conditions inspection team, the meeting minutes of the Admission Quota Assignment Council, the Admission Quota Assignment Council of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training agreed to assign admission quotas for grade 10 in the 2024-2025 school year to 4 schools with a total of 117 quotas.

Specifically, Dwight Secondary and High School (newly established school) is assigned 1 class with 45 students.

Along with that, additional enrollment quotas for grade 10 were assigned to 3 schools: Forestry High School, Kinh Do High School, Nguyen Sieu Middle School & High School and Xa Dan Secondary School. The total number of additional quotas is 42 students.

In addition, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training's Admissions Quota Council also assigned additional quotas to the Ha Dong Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center for 1 class with 30 students.

In the announcement, the Department of Education and Training decided to impose administrative penalties on the following units: Mac Dinh Chi High School, Lac Long Quan High School, Hanoi College of Transport and Public Works, Hanoi College, College of Commerce and Tourism (due to exceeding enrollment quota).

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training's Admissions Quota Assignment Council also decided not to assign additional admission quotas to 4 schools: To Hien Thanh High School; Hanoi Star Primary, Secondary & High School - Hoang Mai; Bac Duong High School; Everest Primary, Secondary & High School. The reason is that the application for additional admission quotas does not meet the legal requirements regarding ownership, facilities, and location of operation.

At the same time, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training's Admissions Quota Council re-examined the physical facilities of Van Hien High School; it did not assign admission quotas to To Hien Thanh High School (due to the lack of legal conditions for the operating location).
