Notably, not only serving the increased consumer demand during the holiday season, the sales campaigns also cleverly incorporated messages celebrating the 50th anniversary of national reunification with the colors of gratitude and community connection. Therefore, from around 9:30 a.m. on the same day (April 30), the stalls were crowded with customers coming to shop and hunt for sales.

At the Co.opmart Hanoi supermarket system, fresh food items are heavily discounted. Hai Duong guava is reduced by up to 71%, from 35,000 VND to 9,900 VND/kg. Oranges, avocados, green mangoes... are also discounted from 37% to 50%. Outside of the golden hours from morning to 11:00 every day, dry goods, cosmetics, household items, and clothing are also reduced by up to 50%.
Similarly, Central Retail Group launched a series of events "Proud of Vietnamese agricultural products 2025" from now until May 7, focusing on promotions on more than 1,000 fresh products, alcohol, fashion and local specialties.
Winmart retail system also launched the program "Extremely good deals - Enjoy the holiday leisurely" with a series of strong promotional combos for typical holiday products, combined with brands such as Milo, Comfort to enhance customer experience.
At the same time, at Go! Thang Long supermarket, there is also an attractive policy of "Celebrating the big holiday with a maximum discount of 50%" which has attracted a large number of consumers to shop on the first day of the April 30 holiday this year.
Or at AEON Mall, it is not out of the race when implementing the "Great Sale Hunting Festival" campaign with 10 - 50% discount on many product lines from sashimi, hot pot, roast chicken to fresh food and household appliances.
