The 2023 Exhibition of OCOP products, handicrafts and Bat Trang craft villages is organized by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the People's Committee of Gia Lam district to support enterprises, rural industrial establishments, and artisans in Hanoi in general and Gia Lam district in particular to display, promote, and introduce local traditional craft products, OCOP products, and traditional products of ceramic craft villages.

At the same time, promote and connect demonstration activities, demonstrations of typical production processes, live performances to promote local traditional crafts and products to introduce and sell OCOP products, handicrafts and craft villages for tourism .

With a scale of 80 booths in an area of about 2,000m2 , the Exhibition includes an area displaying new products, creative designs and craft villages; a central exhibition area and booths of enterprises, rural industrial establishments, and ceramic artisans in Gia Lam district.

Through the Exhibition, organizations and individuals can access, learn, connect creative design activities, develop ideas, design new products with economic , technical and aesthetic value to meet and suit the needs and tastes of customers; thereby being able to develop, form a destination for creative design, introduce, promote and sell OCOP products, craft villages associated with tourism.

This will be an opportunity to create connections between artisans and young design teams with entrepreneurial spirit; create an environment to implement activities to support rural industrial establishments, craft village production and business entities to form and develop creative design activities, introduce, promote and sell OCOP products, craft villages associated with the development of experiential tourism forms, contributing to the restructuring of the rural economy in the City.

The 2023 Exhibition of OCOP products, handicrafts and Bat Trang craft villages contributes to enhancing the value of handicrafts, OCOP products, craft villages in general and the ceramic industry in particular.

At the same time, build a chain of links from creative design, production, processing, and product consumption on the basis of preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of craft villages associated with community tourism activities, agricultural and rural tourism in the circular economy, contributing to the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction for the period 2021 - 2025.

The exhibition of OCOP products, handicrafts and Bat Trang craft villages 2023 will take place from December 15 to December 17, 2023 at the 1,000-year Thang Long - Hanoi Exhibition Area, Village 1, Bat Trang Commune, Gia Lam District, Hanoi.
