This year, Hanoi - the culinary capital of Vietnam - has surpassed strong competitors such as Auckland (New Zealand), Cape Town (South Africa), Lima (Peru), Los Angeles (USA), Bangkok (Thailand), Seoul (Korea), Tokyo (Japan) to win 2 award categories: " World's Leading Culinary City" and "Asia's Leading Culinary City".

According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, over the years, Hanoi cuisine has always been loved by domestic and foreign tourists, highly appreciated by international media and received many prestigious international awards.
