With a scale of about 140 booths (standard) of rural industrial production establishments of Hanoi city, the 2023 Capital Rural Industrial Goods Fair will take place from November 24 to November 28 at the Square area opposite My Dinh National Stadium.

The 2023 Capital Rural Industrial Goods Fair is an opportunity to promote the capital's strong products.

The opening ceremony of the Fair is scheduled to take place at 7:30 p.m. on November 24. Activities within the framework of the Fair include: Displaying, promoting and introducing rural industrial products of the Capital; Organizing trade connections at the Fair.

The fair is an opportunity for enterprises and rural industrial production establishments to introduce, promote and sell rural industrial products of the capital Hanoi. At the same time, it promotes cooperation in production, processing and consumption of high-quality rural industrial products, forming a sustainable production and consumption chain of rural products and goods.

The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade said that the products displayed at the fair are products of rural industrial production and trading establishments in the city. The products on display must ensure quality, be diverse in design and type, and attract and impress visitors and traders at the fair.

The design and arrangement of exhibition space at the Fair must be scientific , impressive and aesthetic. Encourage and support businesses to design and decorate booths in open spaces to create impressions and attract visitors. The preparation of products, booth decoration, reception and transaction with customers of the units participating in the Fair must ensure professionalism.

Hanoi is the political, economic, cultural, scientific and technological center of the country, one of the two growth engines, accounting for 16.2% of the country's GRDP. Hanoi has 1,350 craft villages and villages with crafts, of which 308 are recognized as traditional craft villages, rural industry has an important position in the structure of the economy.

Therefore, rural industrial development plays a very important role in the development of industry, handicrafts, and craft villages in Hanoi, not only promoting socio-economic development but also creating many jobs and increasing income for local people.

In recent times, Hanoi has had many solutions to support rural industrial establishments to develop in a sustainable direction. In 2022 alone, Hanoi's industrial promotion programs will support 10 rural industrial establishments to invest in advanced and modern machinery and equipment for production; support more than 450 rural industrial establishments to participate in fairs and exhibitions of souvenirs, gifts, and handicrafts; and support 35 rural industrial establishments to design models, packaging, and register product trademarks.

Thanks to attention to developing rural industrial establishments, in 2022, Hanoi recovered and increased the export turnover of handicraft products by 7% per year, creating 500 - 700 new designs to serve domestic and foreign markets.

Hundreds of enterprises, craft villages and cooperatives have also participated in domestic and international fairs and received support to invest in new, advanced and modern equipment for production. About 2,000 trainees who are leaders and managers of rural industrial establishments have been trained and participated in training courses to improve their management capacity.

Promoting support for enterprises and rural industrial establishments, including trade promotion, will contribute to creating momentum for the development of the capital's rural industry.
