The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch on implementing the "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" movement to serve the activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

According to the document, in addition to the actions and measures to protect and maintain environmental hygiene, Hanoi also encourages people to maintain the long-term opening of free toilets for tourists during, before and after the above holidays "as a cultural beauty".

Specifically, Hanoi Chairman Tran Sy Thanh requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to propagate and mobilize agencies, businesses, and households to open free toilets for tourists and people during major holidays, including the upcoming September 2nd holiday.

Previously, the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment coordinated with relevant units to conduct a survey and develop a plan for arranging mobile toilets. At the same time, it developed a comprehensive scenario to serve a series of events with a scale of up to 1 million participants before, during and after the event.

It is expected that the number of toilets to be installed and mobilized will be more than 1,010. Of which, Hanoi City will allocate funds to install and maintain more than 610 mobile toilets; at the same time, mobilize agencies, schools, hospitals, private homes... to allow free use of about 400 toilets.

Parade program on September 2 at Ba Dinh Square

According to the Hanoi People's Committee, the parade is expected to attract about 30,000 participants (not including the marching and parading forces) at Ba Dinh Square on the morning of September 2.

Specific program of the Celebration, parade, march:

- 6:30: Traditional torch procession.

- 6:45: Flag salute ceremony.

- 6:50: Announce the reason and introduce the delegates.

- 7:05: Speeches by Party and State leaders.

- From 7:45: Parade program.

- 9:45 to 10:00: The art performance ends.

Schedule for preliminary and final rehearsals of the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and march

- Preliminary review: 9pm, August 27 (Wednesday). Backup date: August 28 (Thursday).

- General rehearsal: 7am August 30 (Saturday). Backup date August 31 (Sunday).

5 fireworks display locations to celebrate National Day

On the evening of September 2, Hanoi organized fireworks displays to celebrate the New Year at 5 locations in the form of traditional and artistic fireworks, including: Hoan Kiem Lake; Thong Nhat Park; Van Quan Lake; My Dinh National Stadium; and West Lake.
