Hanoi: Honoring 100 excellent workers

On May 15, the Hanoi City Labor Federation (HLF) held the "Excellent Workers of the Capital" 2025 Commendation Ceremony to honor and reward workers who have made efforts and overcome difficulties to achieve outstanding achievements in labor production.

At the ceremony, Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Pham Quang Thanh said that under the leadership of Party committees at all levels, along with the correct, accurate and timely decisions of the city's authorities at all levels and the active participation of the entire political system, the socio-economic situation of the capital city of Hanoi in early 2025 has improved a lot... Achieving such results, there are important contributions from the team of workers, civil servants and laborers in the capital, through patriotic emulation movements launched by the Trade Union organization.

In particular, the emulation movement of excellent workers, striving to achieve the title of "Excellent Worker of the Capital" has been actively deployed, responded to, and maintained by all levels of Trade Unions and workers of the Capital, truly becoming an important action movement of the Trade Union organization.

In 2025, the whole city will have 60,220 workers recognized as Excellent Workers at the grassroots level; 2,530 workers recognized as "Excellent Workers" at the grassroots level. Of which, the FDI enterprise sector alone accounts for 35% of the commended workers; the number of level 3, 4, 5 workers achieving the title of "Excellent Workers of the Capital" accounts for over 60%; workers with level 6, 7 skills account for over 35%...

From the typical advanced examples at the grassroots and above-grassroots levels, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Federation has selected and decided to award the Certificate of Recognition for the title "Excellent Workers of the Capital" and proposed the Hanoi City People's Committee to award Certificates of Merit to 100 workers. These are the fresh flowers that decorate the Workers' Month in 2025 and offer to beloved Uncle Ho on the occasion of his 135th birthday.

At the commendation ceremony, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu expressed his hope that in the coming time, the "Capital's Excellent Workers" force will continue to strive to nurture their aspirations for contribution; constantly study, improve their skills, and consider education as an endless path to apply in production labor...

In particular, outstanding good workers need to constantly have initiatives and creativity, and these initiatives and creativity must be promoted every day, every hour in every task and job; at the same time, they are willing to share with colleagues and have the responsibility to pass on their skills to the younger generation.

Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu suggested that the Capital Trade Union at all levels continue to nurture and create an environment for workers to strive for the title of "Capital's Excellent Worker", participate in emulation movements; continue the core task of caring for and protecting the rights and practical interests of union members and workers; have policies and regimes to treat excellent workers, to help them have more motivation to contribute to their work...

Previously, the delegation of Trade Union officials and 100 "Excellent Workers of the Capital" in 2025, led by Mr. Pham Quang Thanh, Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, visited the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh .
