On January 10, information from the People's Committee of Hoang Tan Commune (Quang Yen Town) said that local authorities had just issued a notice to find relatives of two abandoned girls who were discovered by local people.
2 baby girls abandoned in Hoang Tan commune, Quang Yen town
At around 7:30 p.m. on January 9, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue (37 years old, residing in Hamlet 3, Hoang Tan Commune, Quang Yen Town, Quang Ninh ) heard a baby crying for quite a while outside the alley. Ms. Hue approached and discovered two baby girls placed in a plastic basket, fully dressed and wrapped in scarves. At first glance, the two girls looked very similar, possibly twins.
Inside the basket, Ms. Hue also found a piece of paper with the words: "I gave birth to two girls on December 1, 2023. Due to difficult family circumstances, I do not have the conditions to raise them. I hope that whoever is destined to help me, raise the two girls and adopt them, I would like to thank them."
Immediately after that, Ms. Hue reported to the Hoang Tan commune authorities. The Hoang Tan commune authorities coordinated with functional agencies, organizations, and villages to visit the location and verify.
Through initial verification, the two girls are about 1 month old. Initial test results show that the health of the two children is stable.
Hoang Tan Commune People's Committee is coordinating to find relatives of the two children. In addition, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue also requested the commune authorities to take care of and temporarily raise the two abandoned children.
