China and Finland enter the final of DIFF 2024

On June 30, the DIFF 2024 Organizing Committee officially announced the identities of the two teams entering the final round of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.

DIFF 2024 is a competition between 8 teams from the United States, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, China and Vietnam. Through 4 dramatic nights of competition, each team demonstrated their own techniques and identity, creating performances of not too different quality.

The DIFF 2024 Jury includes famous musicians, artists, heads of foreign diplomatic agencies in Vietnam, and is consulted by the consulting unit - Global 2000 Company.

The scoring criteria include: Originality, design ideas and adaptation to the performance theme; diversity and richness of effects and intensity of colors; synchronization between music and performance; ending and overall impression of the performance; emotions and evaluation of the Jury.

After 3 hours of intense discussion, based on the scores of the teams assessed by the Jury through the qualifying rounds and the opinions of the consulting units, the Jury officially announced the Finnish team and the Chinese team as the two best teams competing in the final round of DIFF 2024.

This is considered a very surprising result, because Finland and China are two "arch-rivals" who met each other in the final qualifying round. The confrontation on the night of June 29 between these two fireworks superpowers is considered an "early finale" but they will continue to meet each other to win the championship title.

At the event to announce the two teams entering the DIFF 2024 finals, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee - the judge, conducted a draw to determine the order of performance. According to the draw results, the Chinese team will perform first and the Finnish team will perform second.

The Organizing Committee also announced the award system of DIFF 2024. Accordingly, the Champion Team will receive a prize worth 20,000 USD along with a trophy and certificate; the Runner-up Team will receive a prize worth 10,000 USD along with a trophy and certificate.

This year, the People's Choice Award for Favorite Team will include a $5,000 prize and a certificate.

In particular, with unique and creative performances from the competing teams, the DIFF 2024 Organizing Committee decided to add the Creativity Award with a prize worth 5,000 USD and a certificate. The awards will be announced and awarded right at the final night.

The final night of DIFF 2024 with the theme "Made of Young Generation - Future Beat" will take place on the evening of July 13, 2024, with the competition of the 2 best teams, promising to bring a performance beyond expectations, closing the exciting 12th DIFF season.
