On June 30th, the Organizing Committee of DIFF 2024 officially announced the identities of the two teams that will compete in the final round of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.

DIFF 2024 was a competition featuring 8 teams from the USA, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, China, and Vietnam. Over four dramatic nights of competition, each team showcased their unique techniques and characteristics, resulting in performances of comparable quality.

The judging panel for DIFF 2024 includes renowned musicians and artists, heads of foreign diplomatic missions in Vietnam, and is advised by the consulting firm Global 2000.

The scoring criteria include: originality, design ideas, and adaptation to the performance theme; diversity and richness of effects and color intensity; synchronization between music and performance; the ending and overall impression of the performance; and the judges' emotions and evaluation.

After three hours of intense discussion, based on the scores given by the judging panel during the qualifying rounds and the opinions of consulting firms, the judging panel officially announced that the Finnish team and the Chinese team have become the two best teams to compete in the DIFF 2024 final round.

This is considered a very surprising result, as Finland and China, two fierce rivals, met on the final qualifying night. The clash on June 29th between these two fireworks superpowers was likened to an "early final," but they will meet again to compete for the championship title.

At the event announcing the two teams that qualified for the DIFF 2024 finals, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee and head judge, conducted a draw to determine the performance order. According to the draw results, the Chinese team performed first and the Finnish team performed second.

The organizing committee has also announced the prize system for DIFF 2024. Accordingly, the winning team will receive a prize of USD 20,000 along with a trophy and certificate; the runner-up team will receive a prize of USD 10,000 along with a trophy and certificate.

This year, the award for the most favorite team, as voted by the audience, will include a prize of $5,000 and a certificate.

In particular, with the unique and creative performances from the participating teams, the DIFF 2024 Organizing Committee decided to add a Creative Award with a prize of 5,000 USD and a certificate. The awards will be announced and presented on the final night.

The DIFF 2024 final night, themed "Made of Young Generation - The Heartbeat of the Future," will take place on the evening of July 13, 2024, featuring a competition between the two best teams, promising an unforgettable performance and concluding the vibrant 12th DIFF season.
