On April 9, the People's Committee of Cat Hai district ( Hai Phong city) quickly reported on the case of a foreign female tourist "accused of being raped" on the Era Hp48xx ship.
Specifically, at 10:30 a.m. the same day, Cat Hai District Police received a report from a female police officer (born in 2004, a foreign tourist) who stayed overnight on the Era Hp48xx ship, anchored in the Quai To area, Lan Ha Bay, Cat Hai District, Hai Phong City.

According to the report, on the evening of April 8, the female police officer was raped by PVH (born in 1989, an employee working on the Era Hp48xx ship).
Upon receiving the report, Cat Hai District Police invited Ms. CA and PVH and related people to the district police headquarters to clarify the incident.
Currently, Cat Hai District People's Committee has directed Cat Hai District Police to coordinate with relevant authorities to clarify the case according to the provisions of law.
