Previously, at around 9:20 p.m. on October 6, local residents reported to Binh Phu Commune Police about the discovery of the body of Ms. Ng.Th.B.Nh. (born in 1993, residing in Hoa Son village, Binh Phu commune) under the Con River, passing through the Van Phong dam area.

Upon receiving the news, Binh Phu Commune Police coordinated with functional forces to promptly arrive at the scene, cordon off, protect and conduct an examination to clarify the incident.

Authorities have recovered the victim's body from the shore.

Through initial verification, the authorities determined that before the incident, Ms. Nh. was with Ms. Ng.Th.Th.Ng. (born in 1990, same locality). However, at the scene, only Ms. Nh.'s body was found, while Ms. Ng. was missing, suspected of drowning.

That same night, the police, militia and people organized a search for the victim. At about 8:30 a.m. on October 7, Ms. Ng's body was found, about 1km from the location where Ms. Nh's body was discovered.

Currently, Binh Phu Commune Police have made an initial report and proposed that the Director of Gia Lai Provincial Police direct professional units to coordinate in conducting a crime scene investigation, verification, and clarification of the cause of the incident.
