South Korea increases flights to Phu Quoc

Director of Kien Giang Province Department of Tourism Bui Quoc Thai confirmed that from November 26, Korean national airline Korean Air will launch a new flight route, departing from Seoul (South Korea) to Phu Quoc.

Specifically, flights will depart daily at 3:45 p.m. (local time) from Seoul and arrive in Phu Quoc at 7:50 p.m. The return flight from Phu Quoc will depart at 9:20 p.m. and arrive at Incheon Airport in Seoul at 4:50 a.m. the next morning (local time).

According to major Korean travel agencies and news agencies, November is the right time to open new flights to Phu Quoc, as the island enters its most beautiful season of the year. At this time, Phu Quoc has almost no rain, beautiful sunshine, and calm seas, making it a perfect time for Korean tourists to escape the cold weather in their home country.

According to a survey by Yonhap News Agency (Korea), the number of Korean tourists to Phu Quoc is gradually increasing thanks to word of mouth, to the point where Korean signs can easily be seen in restaurants and massage parlors in the center of the island city.
