Civil Aviation Authority strengthens supervision during peak season
To ensure safety, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has requested airlines to closely monitor the booking situation, promptly adjust operating plans, and add flights on routes with high demand, especially flights to/from Hanoi in the days before and after the holiday.
The Department also requested airlines to coordinate with the tourism industry to implement a package promotion program for aviation and tourism, and to promptly announce plans to increase flights so that airports and service units can proactively arrange human resources.
In addition to maximizing the capacity of the fleet, airlines must ensure that employees strictly comply with aviation safety and security regulations, properly implement pricing policies, and closely control the activities of agents. In addition, it is necessary to increase support for passengers at check-in counters, arrange staff to promptly handle complaints, and minimize delays and cancellations due to technical problems or causes from the airline.
By increasing flights, adding seats and launching many incentive packages, the aviation industry expects to meet the large travel needs of people during the National Day holiday on September 2, while contributing to promoting tourism and socio-economic development during the peak season.
