Ten days before its scheduled date of December 14th at the Hanoi Museum, musician Duong Khac Linh had to announce the cancellation of his "Spiritual Inspiration - Music Takes Me Home" show - his first solo live show in his career after 15 years of returning to Vietnam to pursue his career. A composer's concert in Vietnam is generally considered to have a niche audience (compared to singers' live shows), and coming right after My Tam's "mega" live show that attracted 40,000 spectators (December 13th at My Dinh Stadium), Duong Khac Linh's show was predicted from the start to be difficult to sell tickets for, despite featuring many top entertainment stars such as Ho Ngoc Ha and Noo Phuoc Thinh...
The organizers cited the previous flooding in Central Vietnam as the reason for canceling the show. Instead of holding the concert as planned, the organizers donated 100 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province to help people overcome the consequences of the flood and rescheduled the live show for March 21, 2026.

Previously, on November 26th, Nha Concert in Hanoi also had to announce the cancellation of the show without specifying a return date. Besides the same reason mentioned above, singer Lan Nha, the organizer of the concert, frankly admitted: "For various reasons, the number of tickets sold has not reached the standard level to be able to hold a complete concert..."
A day later, another concert in Hanoi also announced its cancellation: the Music Show Hanoi - The Winter, organized by Ngoc Viet Company and artist Trinh Minh Hien. "During the process of creating artistic ideas, we realized that this program deserves a larger and more meticulous investment than initially planned. Therefore, to provide the audience with a unique and emotionally fulfilling artistic experience, meeting public expectations, the organizing committee has decided to change the schedule and temporarily postpone the performance (originally scheduled for December 12th) to a more suitable time in the future...", the announcement subtly stated.
Despite different explanations and justifications, these show cancellations are usually due to insufficient ticket sales to cover costs, as singer Lan Nha frankly admitted, or, according to unofficial sources, one of the three live shows was withdrawn at the last minute by the sponsor. "Canceling a show is a last resort for artists who have invested so much effort into it. Personally, I consider it a cardinal sin in my career to protect my reputation. But on the other hand, we also need to sympathize with our colleagues, as not everyone can withstand the pressure of making a living from live shows," a famous singer (who wished to remain anonymous) commented.
