NDO - Before the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Presidential Palace welcomed thousands of visitors from all over the country to visit and offer incense in memory of him.

The President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace said that during these days, the Relic Site is expected to welcome more than 10,000 visitors per day. The groups of visitors to the Presidential Palace Relic Site include many groups, from students, civil servants, to veterans and foreign tourists . Each person comes here with their own feelings, but they all share a heart of respect and gratitude towards President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of the Vietnamese people. They quietly line up to visit the stilt house, fish pond, and simple objects associated with Uncle Ho's daily life, to gain a deeper understanding of his personality and shining moral example.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thuy, an interpreter at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, during holidays and Uncle Ho's birthday celebrations, the number of visitors to the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace is very large. Therefore, each day, an interpreter can only serve about 5 groups of visitors.

The President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Presidential Palace applies information technology to help visitors access official information and visual images about the life, career, ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh.

Ms. Thuy said that due to the large number of visitors coming during this time, groups of visitors must register in advance. If they have not registered, the relic site will give priority to groups of visitors from the south and groups of visitors from remote areas.

Coming to the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace on May 19, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong ( Quang Ninh ) emotionally expressed: “I am very happy to come to the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, to visit the place where Uncle Ho lived and worked in the last years of his life. Each artifact, each simple living and working space of Uncle Ho evokes many memories and infinite love for him. Especially, when I saw with my own eyes the cool green garden, the familiar fish pond and Uncle Ho's simple stilt house, I respected and admired his simple and noble life even more”.

Students' experiential activities at President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site.

Taking students to study and experience at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, Ms. Truong Thi Hien Hoa - Vice Principal of Nghia Dung Primary School (Ba Dinh, Hanoi) said: "On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the school organized for excellent students of grades 4 and 5 to visit and experience at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site. This is a meaningful activity organized by the school for the past 3 years to help students understand more about Uncle Ho's life and great revolutionary career, and at the same time educate them to study and follow his noble virtues, which are simplicity, neatness, tidiness, modesty...".

According to Ms. Truong Thi Hien Hoa, every year, the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site designs a separate experience program, suitable for each theme and visitor. This year, the program has clearly innovated by effectively applying digital technology. Thanks to that, students not only have access to historical knowledge through artifacts and real spaces, but also experience modern interactive content such as: multimedia projection, tour guides using QR codes, 3D simulation of Uncle Ho's living and working space... This has created interest and passion for learning in students, contributing to spreading President Ho Chi Minh's legacy more widely.

As one of many young people who came to the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace on May 19, Nguyen Thanh Phuong (Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi) shared: "I feel very moved and proud to see with my own eyes the place where Uncle Ho lived and worked. Although I have read books and watched documentaries about Uncle Ho many times, when standing in front of the simple stilt house, the cool green garden and his familiar mementos, I feel more clearly his heart, sacrifice and humble lifestyle."

To serve visitors, on this occasion, the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace organizes many unique and attractive activities. These include the exhibition "President Ho Chi Minh - National quintessence, stature of the era"; exhibition of 135 documentary photos of Uncle Ho at the Presidential Palace (1954-1969); opening of the storytelling artifact room with thematic exhibition of Uncle Ho with the South - the South with Uncle Ho; launching the book "135 stories about Uncle Ho", the gallery of books about President Ho Chi Minh; organizing the Ho Chi Minh heritage experience program for students...

In order to innovate the method of propaganda, education and promotion of cultural heritage values, the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace has deployed information technology applications, integrating QR Codes at the relic sites. This is a practical solution to help domestic and foreign tourists conveniently look up and access official information and visual images about the life, career, ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh right during the tour.

By scanning the QR code, visitors can quickly find information about 11 typical relic sites such as the Presidential Palace, House 54, the Politburo meeting room, the cars serving President Ho Chi Minh, Kitchen A relic, Uncle Ho's fish pond, mango road, the Presidential Palace flower trellis, the Stilt House, House 67 and the garden.

The President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace is where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked during the last 15 years of his life (1954-1969) and is also where he breathed his last.

Ms. Le Thi Phuong, Director of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, said that the Relic Site covers an area of ​​14.7 hectares with 20 real estate relics, outdoor relics and 1,738 documents and artifacts belonging to the relic houses associated with President Ho Chi Minh during his time living and working at the Presidential Palace. “These are the most vivid and authentic evidences, reflecting the life, career, ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh,” Ms. Le Thi Phuong emphasized.

With the invaluable tangible and intangible heritage value of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, on May 15, 1975, the Ministry of Culture issued Decision 38b/VH-QD, ranking the historical-cultural relic of President Ho Chi Minh at the Presidential Palace. On August 12, 2009, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 1272/QD/TTg to first rank the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace as a special national relic.
