Quang Tri is called the “land of fire” because every inch of land, river, and place name here bears the mark of a time of bombs and bullets; suffering much pain, sacrifice and loss, witnessing many cruel and destructive scenes of war. “Red addresses” such as Hien Luong Bridge, Vinh Moc Tunnels… are evidence of the indomitable will of the army and people of Vinh Linh district in particular and Quang Tri province in the fight for independence, freedom and national unity, for the happiness of the people… now known through the journeys to the source of generations of Vietnamese people…

Truong Son Martyrs Cemetery – the resting place of more than 10,000 martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the war for independence, freedom and national reunification, for the happiness of the people…

With the desire to unify the country, the desire for peace , the soldiers did not hesitate to sacrifice their blood and bones to fight to protect every inch of land of their homeland, of the Fatherland.

Quang Tri is called the “land of fire” because every citizen born here has to bear the burden of tons of bombs and bullets dropped by the enemy to block the strategic roads opened by the Truong Son Army to transport food and weapons to the southern battlefield.

The bomb fragments left after the war demonstrate the brutality of war.

Although the enemy's bombs and bullets were pouring down, they still could not subdue the "bare feet - steel will" of the Truong Son soldiers or the resilience of the Quang Tri people, who clung to their land and villages, both producing and fighting.

Facing the "super weapons" are primitive weapons.

Fragments of cluster bombs, a highly lethal and widespread weapon that the whole world condemns but the enemy is still "determined" to use in order to destroy people's lives.

Straw hats were what helped many people survive the bombings.

Or the legendary tunnels in Vinh Moc tunnels where people lived and fought to repel invaders.

Angolan food containers were used by soldiers and civilians on long trips and on production trips far from home.

Not only the people, the Bru-Van Kieu ethnic group in Quang Tri province stood up to fight with the army and people of the whole country.

Mr. Dinh Loi, who is taking care of the "Truong Son Bomb Memory House" built by Mr. Tran Cong Chuc - a son of Vinh Linh hometown - with the idea of preserving memorabilia and artifacts that demonstrate the fierce war on the fiery land of Vinh Linh (Quang Tri).

Currently, Quang Tri province welcomes millions of tourists from all over the world to visit historical and cultural relics every year. Hien Luong Bridge is the "red address" that tourists visit the most.
