Cruise lines focus on adding human resources, improving service quality, and refreshing experiences on the bay, combining cuisine and performing arts... Van Don district also recorded a high increase in international visitors. During the April 30 - May 1 holiday alone, there were about 2,000 international visitors to Van Don. In addition, communication work has been deployed synchronously, focusing on social networking platforms, official information pages of the province and district... contributing to creating a strong effect, attracting the attention of the domestic and foreign tourism community.

Meanwhile, in Co To district, the peak of the summer tourist season has welcomed a large number of international tourists. It is estimated that from the beginning of the year until now, the district has welcomed about 1,200 visitors. Tourists prioritize participating and experiencing being fishermen with local people in the "one-day-as-a-fisherman" tours... In addition, many cultural and artistic activities organized by localities in the district have attracted tens of thousands of participants, bringing a vibrant and impressive festival atmosphere like never before. In 2025, sightseeing routes such as Co To Con Island and Thanh Lan Island will be reopened, opening up more experiences to explore the pristine islands for tourists. Many tourism services such as: diving to see coral, fishing village tours, kayaking, eco-tourism... are effectively exploited, enriching the itinerary and enhancing the experience of tourists.

Particularly at Ao Tien International Port, the number of international visitors to Van Don and Co To island routes since the beginning of the year has been recorded to have increased 4-5 times compared to the same period in 2024. According to Mr. Le Minh Manh, Port Manager of Ao Tien International Port, the number of international visitors has increased thanks to convenient traffic infrastructure and upgraded investment in accommodation facilities. Ship owners have also proactively applied technology, helping tourists book tickets easily, thereby creating favorable conditions for foreign visitors to travel to the islands. We have recruited and trained port staff who are good at foreign languages ​​to carry out procedures for tourists. At the same time, we have improved the quality of services at the port, helping domestic and foreign tourists have the most complete and convenient experience.

To continue to exploit the full potential of sea and island tourism, attracting a large number of tourists, especially foreign tourists, the province has developed plans to invest in and upgrade facilities at ports, moorings, and wharves; improve technical and safety conditions at ports. Along with that, the top priority is to develop safe sea and island tourism products, protect the ecological environment and landscape. At the same time, link the development of sea and island tourism between tourism enterprises and the fisheries, aquaculture and offshore fishing industries, maritime traffic, maritime transport, maritime services, etc.

Localities such as Van Don and Co To also aim to develop sea and island tourism in depth, exploiting resort, entertainment, exploration and sports services on the sea, under the sea and on remote islands; exploiting the potential and advantages of the sea... along with honoring the culture of the sea and islands, maximizing the participation of local communities in sea and island tourism activities, creating livelihood activities and income for people. In addition, developing appropriate human resources, training local human resources with knowledge, skills, foreign language proficiency, information technology, cultural understanding... to serve local tourism activities.
