Attractive Suoi Tien

According to the locals, Suoi Tien originates from a story from a long time ago. In ancient times, there was a type of flower vine that grew densely on the rocky slopes along the stream bank like the hair of fairies descending to earth to play. The name Suoi Tien originated from that.

Coming to Suoi Tien, visitors not only enjoy the natural beauty, bathe in the cool, refreshing stream, but also enjoy witnessing schools of green stream fish, colorful dragonflies that are friendly to humans. On hot days, visitors to Suoi Tien can enjoy the fresh air and the feeling of stepping into the stream like getting a massage, relaxing and comfortable.

Coming to Suoi Tien, visitors can explore the wild upstream of the stream, or the natural forests, red-leafed lim trees, yellow-leafed trees mixed with the immense green of the primeval forest. All are very wild and charming, giving visitors a truly interesting experience.

Since 2018, the Suoi Tien - Thuy Yen Lake eco-tourism area has been licensed by the province. This stream has been invested in, built systematically, and fully equipped. Specifically, it includes two boat docks, two waiting rooms, a central food stall, three motels, and 12 stream bathing areas.

Thuy An Cooperative is assigned to manage and exploit Suoi Tien to promote its inherent potential, contributing to the economic development of the locality. Every year, Suoi Tien welcomes over 20,000 visitors, creating jobs for many workers, increasing the income of the Cooperative and contributing to the local budget.

Recently, Thuy An Cooperative boldly mobilized 5.8 billion VND in shareholder capital from 244 members to invest in infrastructure construction, purchase vehicles, build concrete roads, marinas, parking lots, beaches, canoes, boats... From 2022, on average, Suoi Tien will attract 6,000 visitors per month, with revenue of 1.5 billion VND and profit of 400 million VND/year.

Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union, Mr. Tran Luu Quoc Doan, assessed that Thuy An Cooperative was on the right track with its appropriate investment in building the Suoi Tien eco-tourism area. This legendary stream is truly attractive through the increasing number of visitors, averaging 6,000 visits per month.

Thuy An Cooperative is orienting to develop Suoi Tien in a breakthrough manner, boldly exploiting various types of services such as souvenir stalls, refreshments, photography, printing... The Cooperative builds stalls to display the main, traditional Hue products, such as conical hats, wooden handicrafts, cajuput oil and rustic dishes of the local people. At the same time, it cooperates with tourism companies in Hue and Da Nang to create a product value chain to attract more and more tourists.

Suoi Tien Ecotourism Area is expected to provide free wifi service at tourist attractions, creating conditions for visitors to go online, look up, update information, and relax during their visit and vacation. Tourists coming to Suoi Tien tourist area in recent times are not only from the province but also from many other provinces. The nearest ones are Da Nang City and many foreign tourists have come to Suoi Tien, an average of 200-300 visits per day. It is expected that the revenue in 2023 will reach 400 million VND/month (operating for 5 months), profit of about 600 million VND/year...
