In the first 6 months of the year, Thuan Bac district has achieved positive results in socio-economic, security and defense tasks. The total production value of all sectors is estimated at 6,782 billion VND, up 14%; the budget revenue in the area is 22.65 billion VND, reaching 52.3%; the total social investment capital is 1,941 billion VND, reaching 44.3% of the yearly plan. Social security work and health-education tasks are effectively implemented; the rate of population participating in health insurance is 92.2/97%; the rate of population with access to clean water is 99.14%; military conscription reaches 100% of the target, military and defense tasks are ensured. The new rural construction program is implemented on schedule; discipline and administrative discipline are strengthened; security, politics , and social order and safety are maintained.

With the motto of action "Solidarity, discipline, proactiveness, flexibility, and effective acceleration", the People's Council of Thuan Bac district unanimously approved the direction for implementing tasks for the last 6 months of 2024. Strive for the total production value of all sectors to reach 12,984 billion VND, an increase of 16.6% compared to 2023; state budget revenue of 53.3 billion VND; total social development investment capital to reach 4,380 billion VND; the poverty rate to decrease by 4.5%; the rate of trained workers to reach 51.5%; the rate of rural water supply to people to reach 99.31%; the health insurance coverage rate to reach 97%; the average communes to reach 17.5 criteria; military service to reach 100% of the target.
