Effectiveness of dialogue conference with commune-level police

The Party Committee and the Board of Directors of An Giang Provincial Police have just organized a dialogue conference with the commune-level police force in the province in 2025. The dialogue helps resolve difficulties and obstacles and is a bridge between the leaders of the Provincial Police and representatives of the police command of 155 communes, wards and towns, in the period when there is no longer a district-level police force.

In order to promptly detect difficulties and problems in the activities of the grassroots police force, the Provincial Police Department's Board of Directors has directed the review and research to answer difficulties, problems and recommendations and proposals of the commune-level police to organize dialogues and answers.

At the conference, with an open and democratic spirit, the Provincial Police Department listened to many recommendations and proposals from the police of communes, wards and towns in the area to coordinate with the leaders of the provincial professional units to study and answer. The delegates frankly exchanged and shared experiences, reflected on difficulties and obstacles in the work of force building, logistics - technology, professional work, payroll, policies, equipment and support tools, etc. The opinions and recommendations of the commune-level police were directly answered by the Provincial Police Department and representatives of the leaders of the professional departments, orienting solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles satisfactorily so that the commune-level police force can better perform all aspects of work at the grassroots level, contributing to ensuring security and order (ANTT), effectively serving the cause of local socio -economic development (KTXH).

According to the Provincial Police Department, this is a democratic and open forum for commune-level police to express their thoughts and feelings; propose legitimate aspirations, good and creative ways of doing things to be replicated in other localities for research and application. At the same time, it is an opportunity for commune-level police to better understand the viewpoints, guidelines and policies of the Party and State, regulations and working procedures of the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial Police Department's Party Committee and Board of Directors in performing assigned tasks. From there, each officer and soldier clearly identifies their own direction and responsibilities and has specific measures to strive to study, practice, improve their qualifications, and better complete their tasks in the coming time.

Over the past time, the communal police force has been strengthened, meeting the requirements and tasks. The work of grasping the situation at the grassroots level has been strengthened; the effectiveness of advisory work with Party committees, authorities and the effectiveness of State management on security and order at the commune and ward levels has been improved; the direct task of fighting and preventing crimes, social evils, and maintaining security and order at the grassroots level has been well performed. "In the past time, despite many difficulties in terms of facilities and working conditions.
