On October 19, the People's Committee of Chau Duc District ( Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province) informed that Ms. Phan Thi Han Hue, Principal of Anh Duong Kindergarten, had just submitted a resignation letter. However, Anh Duong Kindergarten is in the process of correcting shortcomings according to the conclusion of a comprehensive inspection, so Ms. Hue's resignation letter has not been resolved.

In her resignation letter, in addition to her personal request to resign due to poor health, Ms. Hue also accepted responsibility for the shortcomings in the management and operation of Anh Duong Kindergarten.

According to the People's Committee of Chau Duc district, after the inspection period, the inspection team pointed out the shortcomings, limitations and shortcomings in the operations of Anh Duong Kindergarten such as violations of democratic regulations, income increase, labor contract implementation and financial transparency.

The Chief Inspector of Chau Duc district has recommended that the school principal organize to thoroughly handle the above limitations and shortcomings.

The principal is required to publicly disclose and refund more than VND 18 million to teachers and employees who paid for lunch from September 2023 to May 2024; publicly disclose and refund more than VND 5 million for summer lunch in 2024; and recover the amount that the school paid in excess of working days to a teacher during the school year.

At the same time, handle the refund of more than 25 million VND remaining in the summer of 2024 in accordance with regulations.

Chau Duc District Inspectorate also recommended that the Chairman of Chau Duc District People's Committee handle the responsibility of Ms. Phan Thi Han Hue in her role as school principal and individuals related to the limitations and shortcomings according to the conclusion of the district inspectorate.

Previously, on September 14, social media posted information reflecting that the lunch tray costing 30,000 VND for teachers at Anh Duong Kindergarten only had rice and 2 pieces of ham, with a little fish sauce; some other trays had rice and a few pieces of stir-fried meat with bamboo shoots. The incident did not just happen recently but has been going on for a long time.

When social networks and newspapers posted the information, on the afternoon of September 14, the Chairman of Chau Duc district issued an urgent document requesting an inspection, the teachers and staff in the school were refunded their meal money, after deducting 5 meals for the first week of the new school year.

On the evening of September 17, Mr. Nguyen Tan Ban, Chairman of Chau Duc District People's Committee, organized a meeting with school officials and workers to listen to their thoughts and aspirations and find a solution.
