Hieuthuhai and Soobin Hoang Son confront Son Tung M-TP

(NADS) - A generation of talented young singers is rising, creating a strong wave in the Vietnamese music industry. Hieuthuhai and Soobin Hoang Son are the two most prominent names, causing audiences to constantly compare them with the famous star Son Tung M-TP.

Son Tung, now 30, was a musical phenomenon in 2013 with "Cơn mưa ngang qua" (Passing Rain) and continued with a series of hits such as "Em cua ngay hom qua", "Lac troi" and "Noi nay co anh". Recently, Hieuthuhai (real name Tran Minh Hieu, 25 years old) and Soobin Hoang Son (32 years old) are two faces "eyeing" this position. Hieuthuhai shined through a series of game shows such as "King of Rap", "2 Days 1 Night" and "Anh trai say hi", attracting millions of fans. With his handsome appearance and unique rap style, he surpassed Son Tung in the number of listens on Spotify last September, leading the chart with 1,614,816 listens.

Soobin Hoang Son is not far behind when he continuously shines through music shows such as "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai", affirming his position with a strong voice and a series of outstanding hits such as "Xin dung lang im" and "Phia sau mot co gai". Although his popularity is not as high as Hieuthuhai, Soobin still scores with his versatility and experience in the profession.
