"I think one of the great things about football is that you are always exposed to different places and cultures. When I was playing for Australia, we had the opportunity to travel all over the world . So I am very grateful for football, it has taken me to some really beautiful places that I always want to return to.

Same with Hanoi, my experience at that time was really great. I really wanted to explore the changes of the city. But you know, the most important thing is still football, that is my whole life. So, I really can't wait to get to work right away," Coach Harry Kewell shared about his feelings when arriving in Hanoi .

The former Liverpool player faces many challenges when Hanoi FC is in a difficult period, he said: "I am ready to accept and get used to a new life. I played in England for most of my career, then spent three years in Turkey. I also lived in Scotland and many other places in the world. I always give advice to my children: "When you go anywhere, you have to accept the culture there." Just enjoy it. If you do that, your life will be much easier."

"The first time I worked with Asian players was at Celtic, where there were some Japanese players like Daizen Maeda, Kyōgo Furuhashi, Reo Hatate, and also Yang Hyun Jun from Korea. What they had in common was a really incredible effort. Then I went to work in Japan. For me, the best thing about being a coach is creating an environment where players want to come in and learn.

Therefore, I want to go to a place where the players are eager to learn and want to improve themselves. As far as I know, Vietnam is such a place. The players here have a desire to improve. Helping them improve every day is my job. When they improve, the team will improve," Harry Kewell affirmed.

"I am very excited to be here and look forward to the challenges ahead. Hopefully, together we will create a great atmosphere and bring Hanoi FC back to its original position. That is what I want and the reason I am here," Coach Harry Kewell concluded.
