"I tried to stop my players from fighting so that the incident could go further. I am sure of that. There were many scuffles that took place," he emphasized.

“My only intention was to stop the players from fighting. It was very tense, they were pushing and shoving each other. I don’t care if people like it or not, but that’s the reality.”

The Spanish coach even suggested that Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca was also involved in the fight. “I saw Maresca being pushed and then he pushed someone else! It was clear that our coaches’ intention was to stop the players,” Enrique said.
