However, in the second half, coach Amorim's team scored 2 goals from set pieces to complete the comeback. In both of these goals, Bruno Fernandes was the one who assisted Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount to score.

Statistics show that Man Utd and Arsenal are the two most dangerous teams in dead ball situations this season. They have both scored 10 goals. This is the "new weapon" of the Red Devils under coach Amorim.

Speaking after the match, coach Amorim admitted that Man Utd had “stolen ideas” for set pieces from Premier League clubs. The Portuguese coach said: “We spent a lot of time practicing set pieces. Man Utd learned a lot.

In the Premier League you see how other teams deal with dead balls and we are 'stealing' a lot of things to score goals.”

The Portuguese coach said the team had clearly improved after the break: “I just told the players that they needed to be more lively. When you are more proactive, you appear more in important positions and get to the ball more often. Everyone did that very well.”

He also admitted that the physicality of the opponent helped Man Utd dominate: "Crystal Palace lost strength in the second half. When we increased the speed of the game, they conceded goals and then you could clearly feel that we completely controlled the game."

Notably, in the match against Crystal Palace, Bruno Fernandes made Man Utd fans worried when he was injured at the end of the match. However, Amorim reassured after the match that the Man Utd captain did not suffer a serious injury.

The coach born in 1985 shared: “It was just a normal collision. I shouted because I thought he needed to go on the field immediately but Bruno said it was just a little pain. Everything is fine and he can return in the match against West Ham.”

After the victory over Crystal Palace, Man Utd climbed to 7th place in the rankings with 21 points, 3 points behind 4th place Aston Villa.
