Head coach Tran Trung Kien was "heartbroken" by how his players secured their place in the semi-finals.

Furthermore, the penalty shootout between the two teams was equally breathtaking. The Da Nang University of Sports and Physical Education team initially held the advantage, but once again lost it, conceding the decision to their opponent. However, in the final penalty kick (the 5th round), the Ton Duc Thang University player missed. Ultimately, the Da Nang University of Sports and Physical Education team won 5-4 after 7 rounds of penalties.

After the match, head coach Tran Trung Kien breathed a sigh of relief, as if a heavy burden had been lifted, and admitted: "It was truly nerve-wracking." "When we entered the penalty shootout, we knew the chances were 50-50. The winning team would be the one with fewer mistakes. The final result was the effort of the entire team. It was a match filled with so many emotions, from joy to regret, and then an outpouring of emotion. Navigating through those emotional ups and downs was truly difficult," Coach Kien shared.

According to head coach Tran Trung Kien, through such dramatic and high-stakes matches, the coaching staff can clearly see the players' growth. "Matches like the recent ones are challenges for the players to hone their character, making them stronger and more resilient to continue conquering future challenges," Kien emphasized.

"From the beginning, the Da Nang University of Sports and Physical Education team didn't prioritize results. The school's leadership also didn't set any performance targets for this tournament. We will try to play each match one at a time, focusing on the semi-final first. At this point, it doesn't matter which team we face. We will shed our psychological barriers and give the audience an exciting match. If we reach the final, that would be fantastic," said the head coach of the Da Nang University of Sports and Physical Education team.
