Hoa An: Checking the implementation results of Resolution No. 02-NQ/HU on construction of traffic infrastructure in the district in the period of 2021

On the afternoon of April 23, the inspection delegation of Hoa An District Party Committee worked with the Party Cell of the Economic - Infrastructure Department on the implementation results of Resolution No. 02 of the District Party Committee on the construction of traffic infrastructure in the district for the period 2021 - 2025.

The Economic and Infrastructure Department Party Cell is a combined Party Cell of 4 units, including: Department of Finance - Planning, Department of Economics and Infrastructure, Investment and Construction Project Management Board, Center for Land Fund Development and Site Clearance. Implementing Resolution No. 02 of the District Party Committee, the Party Cell has led, directed, and advised the District People's Committee to basically implement and ensure the set progress. From 2021 to present, the whole district has invested in the construction, renovation, repair, and upgrading of 81 traffic works with a total length of 83.7 km, with a total implementation cost of over 253 billion VND; supporting the construction of concrete roads under the mechanism of "State and people working together" with a total length of 56.4 km. The regular maintenance, repair, and maintenance work of decentralized units has been carried out relatively well, maintaining smooth traffic, basically meeting the traffic needs of vehicles on the roads. To date, 68.7% of provincial roads, 98.6% of district roads, and 79% of communal roads are paved with asphalt or concrete.

The leaders of Hoa An District Party Committee requested the Party cell and Party members to uphold their sense of responsibility, continue to advise the leaders of the District People's Committee to implement the goals of Resolution No. 02-NQ/HU; grasp the data, specific addresses, resources, and priority of each project to advise on implementation; proactively and regularly inspect and urge contractors to speed up the disbursement of project programs.
