Miss Ý Nhi regrets missing out on top 8 'Top Model' at Miss World 2025

On the evening of May 24, the Top Model competition within the framework of Miss World 2025 took place in Telangana (India) with performances by 108 contestants from all over the world.

On stage, Vietnam representative Huynh Tran Y Nhi confidently showed off her performance skills in traditional Indian costume. The design helped her show off her slim waist, white skin and graceful figure.

In the second performance, Y Nhi continued to show her stage presence as she confidently walked in a pink short dress with a long train behind. She brought a cold, attractive image through her charismatic performance style.

When asked by the MC about the design idea, Y Nhi said the dress was inspired by the lotus flower - a symbol of purity and elegance. The water image in the back symbolizes the sea of ​​her hometown where she was born and raised. She also thanked designer Thuong Gia Ky for creating this dress.

Despite her highly-rated performance, Ý Nhi still failed to make it into the top 8, leaving fans disappointed. She previously won this round at Miss World Vietnam 2023 and was expected to go further.

In the end, 4 beauties won the regional championship and officially entered the top 40 of Miss World including: Namibia (Selma Kamanya), Martinique (Aurélie Joachim), India (Nandini Gupta), Ireland (Jasmine Gerhardt).

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 4 Best Costume Design awards to 4 representatives from: Puerto Rico (Valeria Pérez), Zoalise Jansen van Rensburg (South Africa), Ukraine (Maria Melnychenko), New Zealand (Samantha Poole).

Miss India - Nandini Gupta continued to affirm her stable performance when shining in this competition.

European contestants also delivered outstanding performances, demonstrating sharp charisma and good stage presence.

A big surprise when the Philippines representative - Krishnah Gravidez could not make it into the top 8 despite being highly appreciated for her catwalk skills.

Similarly, Jasmine Stringer from Australia - another strong candidate - could not go far in this competition.

Before the Miss World finals on May 31, the contestants will continue to compete in the Charity Project round on May 26. Miss Ý Nhi will have the opportunity to present details of her Hope Bookcase project to the jury and investors.
