Pain in Peace "is very important in Hoa's career life"

On her personal page, Hoa Minzy shared that Pain in Peace "is a very big and very important project in her career". The song is a touching story about women, heroic Vietnamese mothers.

She added that she has wanted to carry out projects about her homeland and country for a long time and this is the time she begins to gradually realize her ideas.

"Hoa is very honored and proud that the program chose Hoa's song when it had not yet been released and let Hoa perform in a big national concert like tonight," the singer wrote before the event on the evening of August 17.

In addition to singing the official soundtrack, Hoa Minzy also played a small role as an assistant to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam delegation in the film Red Rain . In the previous trailer, she choked up and announced: "The soldiers fought very steadfastly. The Citadel Front was still held."

Nguyen Van Chung also said the reason why he wrote Pain in the Midst of Peace .

"Because those are the people I accidentally did not mention in the words of gratitude in the song Continuing the story of peace. In the midst of the joy of peace, we sometimes forget the tears, the pain that will never go away, the mothers who can only eat with their children through blurry pictures, and talk to their children through the fragrant smoke of incense," the musician confided.

"I hope everyone will love this song of ours. There is pain in the midst of peace that we will together soothe," he said.

Hoa Minzy thanks Nguyen Van Chung and the Red Rain film crew

In the song Pain in Peace, there is a line: "That mother searches for her child among the cheers of the nation/ That wife searches for her husband among the crowd."

Hoa Minzy said this is a lyric that every time it plays, it makes her "extremely emotional" because it expresses many emotions of mothers who lost their children and wives who lost their husbands during the resistance war.

On the day of peace, those women were happy, happy because the country was no longer at war, but they were in pain, in pain because they no longer had husbands or children.

The singer said, "We will always be grateful for the sacrifices of our ancestors to keep peace for the nation, but we will also always be grateful to those women. The heroic Vietnamese mothers and wives."

She thanked musician Nguyen Van Chung for writing a song that touched her heart and still makes her cry every time she hears it.
