Hoa Phat invests in 7 projects in Quang Ngai

QNgTV- Up to now, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company has been approved to invest in implementing 7 projects with a total investment capital of about 189 trillion VND, covering an area of ​​nearly 700 hectares.

Notably, the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 1 Iron and Steel Complex project has a designed capacity of 6 million tons of steel per year. Currently, the project has put into operation a 4 million tons of steel per year construction item, continuing to complete investment procedures to reach 100% capacity.

Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Complex Project is currently undergoing phase 1 testing with a capacity of 2.8 million tons/year. It is expected that by the end of 2025, phase 2 will be tested, synchronizing the entire HRC steel production line to reach 5.6 million tons/year and by 2028, the line will be put into operation to increase the capacity of 0.5 million tons of high-quality coil steel/year.

Currently, Hoa Phat Group is focusing on promoting the implementation of the project of the Steel Rail and Special Steel Factory in Dung Quat Economic Zone with a capacity of 700 thousand tons/year, investment capital of about 10 thousand billion VND to serve the needs of building the North-South high-speed railway, urban railway projects and other key projects.
