6 solution providers accompany business households in converting from declared lump-sum tax

Solution providers committed to Hai Phong City Tax to provide free technology solutions for business households converting from lump-sum tax to declaration model.

On the afternoon of November 12, Hai Phong City Tax organized the signing of a cooperation agreement between Hai Phong City Tax and solution providers to support business households in the process of converting the model from lump-sum tax to declaration.

Accordingly, 6 solution providers, including: Viettel Telecommunications Group - Hai Phong branch, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), Misa Group, KiotViet Technology Joint Stock Company, Sapo Technology Company and Softdreams Technology Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company have signed a commitment with the City Tax Department to provide free technology solutions to business households to support business households in the process of converting the tax model from lump-sum tax to declaration. The providers will support without incurring costs; coordinate with the Tax Consulting Association to train and guide; accompany business households in converting the tax declaration management model to lump-sum tax.

Hai Phong City Tax leaders and representatives of solution providers signed a cooperation agreement.

Signing an agreement between the tax authority and solution providers creates a bridge between business households and solution providers, accounting software, and electronic invoices; providing necessary information and conditions for the conversion process, and is an opportunity for solution providers to introduce products with many superior and outstanding features, simple solutions, easy to use, safe and secure customer information so that business households can research and choose suitable applications and services for their operations.

As of November 2025, Hai Phong City Tax is managing about 70,000 business households under the tax contract method. From January 1, 2026, these business households will switch to the tax declaration method. This is a major reform in management methods, changing the awareness and habits that have been ingrained in the subconscious of many generations of business households.

Previously, the City Tax Department implemented the plan "60 peak days of converting the model from lump-sum tax to declaration for business households".

The plan is implemented in 3 phases: phase 1 - launching and surveying business household data (from November 1 - 15, 2025); phase 2 - propaganda, dialogue, guidance (from November 16 - 30, 2025); phase 3 - official conversion implementation (from December 1 - 31, 2025).
