Completed 2 layers of roofing for Long Thanh Airport passenger terminal in mid-July

According to the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), to ensure watertightness before the rainy season, the entire roof of the passenger terminal of Long Thanh International Airport (airport) phase 1 will be completed with 2 layers of roofing, including layer 1-decking and skylight by mid-July 2025.

According to the design, the roof of Long Thanh Airport's passenger terminal phase 1 will have 5 layers.

ACV also said that for the passenger terminal project, up to now, the rough construction work has reached more than 79%, of which the central area has reached 82% and the wing area has reached 74%. Currently, the joint venture contractor has begun to carry out tasks such as: painting, finishing the ceiling...

For the steel structure and main roof finishing work, the production of the main roof steel structure has been basically completed and 100% of the steel structure installation at the station wings and over 92% in the central area has been completed. For the central roof area, the work of raising the roof steel structure (central location) has reached the completion level on April 4, 2025; 100% of the column head welding work has been completed by the end of April 2025.

The steel frame installation for the glass wall has been completed by nearly 75%, of which the station wing area has been basically completed, and the installation is underway in the central area, reaching about 52%. The joint venture contractor is deploying the aluminum frame glass wall installation simultaneously in the station wings and central area, and has completed the glass wall installation by nearly 9%.
