Specifically, the conclusion stated: Regarding Sa Pa Airport, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1621 dated December 21, 2024 on adjusting the investment policy of the Sa Pa Airport Construction Investment Project, Lao Cai province under the public-private partnership model. The People's Committee of Lao Cai province urgently implements and proactively coordinates with relevant ministries and agencies in the process of implementing the construction of Sa Pa Airport; striving to complete before October 2027.
Regarding the construction of Sa Pa Airport into an international airport: Agree on the investment policy to meet the conditions and criteria of an international airport; Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee continues to implement the conclusion of the Prime Minister in Notice No. 321 dated October 6, 2022 of the Government Office.
