Learn from Uncle Ho so that people believe and follow.

Many effective models and creative approaches have been implemented with specific and practical actions that people trust and follow, contributing to improving the Party's leadership capacity and fighting strength, and building an increasingly clean and strong Party.

Learning and following Uncle Ho is becoming more and more routine.

For 3 consecutive years (2022-2024), Thong Nhat Ward Party Committee was recognized by Pleiku City Party Committee as an "Excellent and Typical Party Committee". This achievement is a testament to the sense of responsibility, dedication and continuous efforts of the ward's cadres, party members and civil servants in performing their assigned tasks.

Mr. Pham Toan Vinh - Chairman of Thong Nhat Ward People's Committee - said: Each cadre and civil servant is always proactive and creative in their work, constantly learning to improve their professional qualifications, and wholeheartedly serving the people. Notably, many administrative reform models have been built and replicated to improve the quality of service to the people, in which the most prominent is the model "5 know - 3 show": "5 know" includes knowing how to listen to people, speaking so that people understand, making people trust, knowing how to apologize, knowing how to thank; "3 show" is respect, civility, and closeness.

In the period of 2020-2024, the ward mobilized people to contribute 5.46 billion VND to invest in and upgrade urban infrastructure. Many civil works were implemented synchronously such as: repairing and upgrading 5 residential group halls and building residential group hall 2; renovating and maintaining 8,829 m of road, installing 52 lighting bulbs; building Dinh Cong Trang flower garden; paving the sidewalk of Pham Van Dong street with a length of 3.6 km...

Up to now, 100% of residential groups have meeting and activity halls; 98% of alleys are asphalted or concreted; 100% of alleys have lighting. In 2024, the ward will rank 2nd out of 21 communes and wards of Pleiku City in the 100-day and night peak campaign to improve the efficiency of public service use.

Identifying that studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is a regular and central task in the work of Party building and rectification, the Pleiku City Party Committee has focused on leading and widely implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW and Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo to all cadres, party members and people.

Party committees at all levels have linked the content of studying and following Uncle Ho with the program and action plan to implement Resolution of the 12th Central Committee, Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW dated October 25, 2021 of the 13th Party Central Committee, resolutions of Party congresses at all levels as well as resolutions of Party committees and regular activities in each agency, unit and locality, with many flexible and practical ways of doing things.

In particular, learning and following Uncle Ho is also associated with solving urgent and outstanding problems of the people. From 2016 to the first quarter of 2025, the whole city organized over 4,000 meetings with citizens, receiving over 6,500 petitions and complaints, of which the rate of resolution within the right authority reached over 95%.

Activities of contact and dialogue with the people have been enhanced, thereby consolidating trust between the Party, the government and the people. Currently, the city has 83 typical models of studying and following Uncle Ho that have been widely replicated, contributing to building a clean Party, developing the socio -economy, and maintaining national defense and security.

In Dak Doa district, grassroots Party organizations, agencies and units have proactively selected appropriate learning and following of Uncle Ho's teachings, focusing on promptly handling issues arising from the grassroots. Especially cases related to land disputes, administrative procedures and legitimate petitions of the people. The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee regularly reviews and directs the final resolution of complicated issues of public concern; considering this an important criterion to evaluate the effectiveness of learning and following of Uncle Ho.

The implementation of Regulation No. 11-QDi/TW of the Politburo and regulations of the Provincial Party Committee and District Party Committee on the responsibility of leaders in receiving people, dialogue and handling people's feedback and recommendations has been seriously implemented. From 2021 to present, the District Party Committee Secretary has organized 67 meetings with people, receiving 83 feedbacks and recommendations from people. The authorities at two levels have also organized 1,339 meetings with citizens and handled 1,025 petitions in accordance with regulations.

The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee also focuses on dialogue between leaders and the people. Many meetings and listening sessions are organized such as: the District Party Committee Secretary dialogues with the Party cell secretaries of villages and residential groups; the Chairman of the District People's Committee dialogues with farmers and youth; the District People's Council dialogues with children, etc.

Thereby, the legitimate thoughts, aspirations and recommendations of the people are promptly listened to, responded to and handled. Communes and towns also do a good job of receiving people, enhancing dialogue, proactively resolving arising issues right at the grassroots level, preventing the situation of petitions and complaints beyond the level of authority and in large numbers.

Replicating models

To deepen the study and follow of Uncle Ho, the Front and socio-political organizations at all levels pay special attention to promoting activities towards the grassroots, with the motto "Every week, there are 4 working days at the office, 1 working day at the grassroots". This approach not only contributes to improving the effectiveness of mass mobilization work but also helps cadres grasp the reality, promptly listen, share and resolve the difficulties and legitimate aspirations of the people.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union issued Decision No. 121/QD-BTV regulating ethical standards for Women's Union officials at all levels in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

Along with that, focus on directing innovation in working methods and styles towards science, efficiency, and practicality; build a style of Association cadres close to the people, close to the grassroots, attached and responsible to female members.

Similarly, the Youth Union-Association-Young Pioneers organizations at all levels have maintained and spread many creative models such as: Storytelling contest about Uncle Ho; painting contest "Uncle Ho with children - Children with Uncle Ho"; political activities "Remembering Uncle Ho makes our hearts brighter"; thematic activities to learn about works written about Uncle Ho...

According to Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Ha Thi Giang Thao, these activities have contributed to raising awareness, fostering revolutionary ideals, building political mettle for cadres and youth union members; creating clear changes in self-discipline, sense of responsibility in work and life.

Many typical, advanced collectives and individuals, good models were promptly discovered, commended and replicated, contributing to spreading positive lifestyles and arousing the spirit of dedication in young people.

Meanwhile, the Party Committee of Ia Pnôn Border Guard Station (Duc Co district) has effectively deployed and maintained the models "One law per week" and "Uncle Ho's teachings in the past" to create positive changes in the awareness and actions of officers and soldiers.

Major Nguyen Thanh Nhon - Political Commissar of Ia Pnôn Border Post - said: 100% of officers and soldiers maintain and promote the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", practice the ethics and lifestyle of revolutionary soldiers; have a correct awareness of the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation, clearly identify "objects and partners", heighten the spirit of revolutionary vigilance, resolutely fight to defeat the "peaceful evolution" plot of hostile forces; always demonstrate high determination, ready to receive and complete well all assigned tasks.

Speaking to reporters, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Pham Thi To Hai affirmed: The study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in the province has recently had clear changes, with many new and creative ways of doing things, increasingly going into depth, bringing practical results.

Emulation movements and campaigns that have been implemented with attention by Party committees and authorities have truly become a great spiritual driving force, spreading widely among cadres, Party members and people of all walks of life, making an important contribution to the work of building a clean and strong Party, as well as promoting socio-economic development, ensuring political security, social order and safety; fighting and preventing manifestations of degradation and political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation" within the Party, firmly protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views, and consolidating the people's trust in the Party and the State.
