The Park Hang-seo Academy U.9 team won silver medal at the international football tournament in Korea, in which young player Le Gia Phong won the title of Best Player of the tournament (MVP).

Mr. Park Hang-seo promises to win the championship

On the afternoon of August 6, Coach Park Hang-seo shared: "Congratulations to the young players of the academy. Thank you for playing your best. Next year, let's aim for the championship!". Then, he expressed his feelings: "A truly touching achievement! Thank you to the young players for playing their best. Let's strive together for the next tournaments!".

Also in his post, Mr. Park shared a link to congratulate the U.9 gifted team of the Park Hang-seo International Football Academy for winning the silver medal at the Boeun 2025 International Football Tournament - which is introduced as a large-scale tournament with the participation of more than 70 teams from many countries! Of which, the U.9 age group has 16 participating teams.

Not only stopping at the runner-up position, captain Le Gia Phong was honored to receive the title of Most Outstanding Player of the tournament (MVP), affirming his talent and impressive competitive spirit. This opens up the possibility for young students to go further in the professional football environment.

It was quite interesting when the fanpage of Park Hang-seo Football Academy revealed that despite not being prepared in advance, the team of mothers of the U.9 Academy players fought their best and entered the top 4 strongest teams in the mini football tournament exclusively for parents.

The Park Hang-seo International Football Academy was established in August 2023, after he left the Vietnam national team after winning the runner-up position at the 2022 AFF Cup. This is considered Mr. Park's passion project, with the goal of focusing on developing a school football model aimed at children aged 5 to 11.
