On October 25, the Association of War Veterans of Quang Ninh province was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of War Veterans for its outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement of exemplary war veterans in the period 2019-2024.
On October 24-25, the Association of War Veterans of Quang Ninh province organized the 7th Patriotic Emulation Congress of Exemplary War Veterans (2024-2029) with the participation of more than 230 exemplary war veterans representing more than 55,000 war veterans in the whole province.
The Congress reviewed the results achieved after 5 years (2019-2024) of implementing the exemplary war veteran movement associated with emulation movements and local campaigns. From there, it proposed directions to actively innovate and improve the effectiveness of the exemplary war veteran movement in the coming period. At the same time, building a comprehensively strong association, a reliable support for local Party committees and authorities; striving to excellently complete the political tasks of the Vietnam War Veterans Association...
In the period of 2024-2029, the Association of War Veterans of Quang Ninh province sets out and strives to complete 6 main targets, including: Recruit 6,500 or more members ; 100% of cadres are trained and professionally developed according to decentralization; annually, over 90% of association bases achieve comprehensive strength, over 95% of members are exemplary and over 95% of member families meet the standards of cultural families; all the poor and dilapidated war veteran members' households;...
To complete the above targets, in the coming time, the Association of War Veterans of Quang Ninh province will continue to innovate in depth in emulation movements at all levels; improve the capacity to advise Party committees, coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, Party committees and authorities at all levels in activities. In addition, it will innovate the content and methods of operation of the Association at all levels and improve the quality of activities of the Association and branches in a practical and effective manner. The Association of War Veterans at all levels in the province will effectively implement digital transformation, use digital technology in the Association's activities and production of goods, innovate economic growth models, joint ventures, and chain linkages of War Veterans and War Veterans' enterprises...
The congress also voted to approve the list of 7 delegates to attend the 7th National Exemplary War Veterans Emulation Congress in Hanoi.
On this occasion, Colonel Dam Huy Dac, Chairman of the Association of War Veterans of Quang Ninh province, received a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister for his outstanding achievements in propaganda and mobilizing resources to help members, communes, and villages facing difficulties in the province in the period 2019-2024.
The Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association awarded the Emulation Flag to the Veterans Association of Quang Ninh province and Certificates of Merit to 2 individuals of the Veterans Association of Quang Ninh province for their outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement of exemplary veterans in the period 2019-2024.
Many collectives and individuals were also awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee and the Association of War Veterans of Quang Ninh province for their outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement of exemplary war veterans in the period 2019-2024.
