The highlight of this year’s Fair is the harmonious combination of traditional and digital spaces, between direct trade and online communication. From the “Autumn Impressions” area to the culturally significant booths, all activities are designed to create “digital content” that has a strong influence on social networks.
According to Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Trade Promotion Agency ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), this is a new approach in trade promotion activities, in line with the global digital transformation trend. Because digital trade promotion and digital transformation are becoming inevitable trends; in which, the participation of Tiktokers, KOLs, KOCs who have great influence on the online environment helps to strongly spread the image of the fair and Vietnamese products.
In particular, the Organizing Committee invited many famous KOLs and KOCs to attend and create content directly at the fair. Along with that, the Ministry of Industry and Trade deployed a synchronous communication campaign across the entire press system and digital platforms. Ministries, branches and central and local press agencies were all asked to open a separate column "Autumn Fair", creating an information ecosystem linking traditional press and social networks.
In addition, the Trade Promotion Agency also coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to produce many digital contents, promoting the fair's image on multimedia platforms. The "Autumn Impression" check-in area was designed specifically for KOLs and KOCs to create videos, share experiences and introduce products, thereby creating a natural and sustainable source of spread in the online community.
Not only a place to display, the 2025 Autumn Fair is also considered a laboratory for digital trade promotion, where Vietnamese businesses test new ways to reach consumers through short videos, brand stories or interactive online experiences.
Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh, Representative of TikTok Vietnam, commented: Every product has its own story. The important thing is how to tell that story in the most attractive way. If the product is only introduced at the fair, the number of people accessing it will be limited. But when it is spread on digital platforms through videos and creative content, the brand value can multiply many times.
According to Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh, each video with the event hashtag can help the product reach hundreds of thousands of potential consumers, contributing to building the brand and boosting revenue. Businesses not yet present on TikTok are also encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to start a presence on the platform, receiving support from long-term cooperation programs.
Notably, the trend of borderless fairs, where consumers can both experience directly and explore products online, is becoming an inevitable direction. With more than 80% of the population using the Internet and the scale of e-commerce reaching nearly 25 billion USD, Vietnam has great potential to combine traditional trade promotion and digital content, opening up new growth space for businesses.
Experts also said that: Taking advantage of digital platforms in promoting fairs is testing a sustainable trade promotion model, helping to reduce organization costs but greatly increasing the spreading effect. With a comprehensive, synchronous and creative plan, the communication and promotion of the Autumn Fair 2025 will be highly effective, contributing to making the event a highlight of digital trade promotion activities and developing Vietnam's cultural industry.
Through images of Hanoi autumn, music, lights and booths imbued with Vietnamese identity, the 2025 Autumn Fair not only promotes commerce but also brings consumers to an emotional shopping experience, where cultural values and brands blend in a modern digital space.
