Women's Union of Southern provinces reviews the work of the Union in the first 6 months of 2025

Attending the event were Ms. Do Thi Thu Thao - Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, representatives of local leaders and Women's Unions of 19 provinces in the emulation cluster. The delegation of Tay Ninh province was led by Ms. Kim Thi Minh - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union.

In 2025, with the theme "Promoting the role of women in building a clean and strong Party and political system, ready to enter a new era, an era of national advancement", the Women's Union at all levels in the two clusters proactively developed and implemented the Union's work plan in conjunction with patriotic emulation movements. In particular, launching a special emulation campaign to achieve achievements to celebrate major national holidays, the 5th Vietnam Women's Union Patriotic Emulation Congress and the 95th anniversary of the Union's founding.

The emulation cluster has effectively implemented propaganda andeducation activities, improving knowledge and skills for members and women; promoting the implementation of the movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era", the campaign "Building families of 5 no, 3 clean". The movement "Skillful mass mobilization" has been concretized with many practical and effective models.

The delegation presented gifts to a number of units in Phu Quy district.

The provinces in the two clusters enthusiastically organized activities in response to the Ao Dai Week, folk dance performances to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8, especially the series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). By the end of May, the emulation cluster had completed 877 projects and tasks, with a total value of 13.1 billion VND; actively responding to the movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" nationwide.

In the work of the Association, many typical and advanced collectives and individuals were discovered, promoted and rewarded. Specifically, the whole cluster commended 1,970 typical examples.

At the conference, representatives of the Tay Ninh Provincial Women's Union shared a number of effective models being implemented in the area, focusing on activities accompanying women in border areas and supporting the livelihoods of members in difficult circumstances. These models contribute to improving the material and spiritual life of women, while strengthening solidarity in the border areas and firmly protecting territorial sovereignty. The Provincial Women's Union also expressed its determination to effectively implement the theme for 2025.

The delegation listened to an introduction to Duc Thanh school.

On this occasion, the delegates offered incense and reported their achievements to Uncle Ho at the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Binh Thuan branch, expressing their respect and deep gratitude to the beloved leader of the nation. The delegation also visited the Duc Thanh relic site - where teacher Nguyen Tat Thanh taught before leaving to find a way to save the country in 1911; presented souvenirs worth 10 million VND to the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Binh Thuan branch.

Within the framework of the preliminary review activities, the Women's Unions of the provinces in the emulation cluster coordinated to deploy the project "Security Light Road" in Phu Quy district, Binh Thuan province. The 1,000m long road, worth 100 million VND, connects Tam Thanh commune to Long Hai commune, aiming to contribute to ensuring security and order, while creating a landscape highlight for local tourism development. The project was completed and handed over to the locality right on the occasion of the preliminary review conference on May 9.
